I like the bus it put a shock value and humor. I am just kinda confuse on the cargo if its empty or not the boat doesnt tell only on the text above. Also the camera on the main game should stick to 2nd person view because theres already a minimap so no need to pan out the camera. Great game
This is very helpful to me. Yes getting some cargo to show up on the boat is in the plan but since this is a feature so I will have to do it after the game jam. As for the camera, you are right, I added the mini map on the last minute because it is more useful, so having camera following make it hare to see where the boat is going, make it hard to navigate. I will have this done after the game jam also as this is also something new really, not a bug fix.
I like the music and humour of the game. Well done for getting it working on mobile too, although I didn't test that persosally.
My suggestion to have the camera rotate to follow the direction of player movement, instead of the fixed direction you have. Or would that make it more difficult for mobile players?
Also, it's confusing to have the cargo pickup behind the player's view point, especially with the camera situation.
Yes I agree the camera definitely need extra work. It does follow player around but in an automatic way so if you sail the boat towards the oil loading dock, as it approach, camera will zoom out to provide a camera crew type of setup. Tried to do something different than just following but I am thinking of putting some additional features to the mini-map to help reduce confusion.
You should explain in the Tutorial (to the effect of) that you need to keep the ship at the dock/storage house over time for your Cargo to fill up, but One could just figure this out after some guessing.
I was wondering why my Boat speed slowed down so dramatically which I thought was an error, but realize the boat moves slower naturally for having the weight of the cargo applied.
-There are times where you can still navigate your ship at 100% damage.
-The "James Bondesque" music was fun.
I like your dramatic description for the game and thorough accreditation.
Hey that's good suggestion, yes, I see what i can do there.. I will need to add a pop up (like those ones in comic book near the loading dock like someone say please wait then show the how much total barrel's pick up.
Yes you are right this is a hybrid-simulation game but that's actually on the roadmap (I do have a huge idea bank for this game already at the beginning but chose not to tackle these additional enhancement just to get the game complete... since this is my first and i literally spent 6+ hours learning to hammer our my own music on Saturday... first time creating my own song and graphics too so it was quite a stunt for me.
hmmm "-There are times where you can still navigate your ship at 100% damage." this part is something I noticed too. I think it needs one more hit to sing. I should reduce my sinking mechanism at 99%.
Thanks for reviewing my game for me. All very constructive comments to help me improve my game building skills. THANKS!
